Oats upma – Healthy vegetable oats upma recipe at home – Breakfast & kids lunch box




Quick and easy recipe of oats upma. A healthy breakfast and kids lunch box option. A non fried breakfast filled with many chopped vegetables with some spices. it required very less time to make and even when you don't have the craving to eat proper lunch and dinner then this is the best option you can go with. see the recipe below.


1 cup oats
1 tbsp urad dal
1 tbsp chana dal
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon mustad seeds
1/4 cup chopped carrot
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
1/4 cup onion chopped
1/4 cup green peas
2 tbsp sweet corn
salt to taste
curry leaves
fresh coriander

Heat oil in non stick pan.
Add cumin seeds.
Add ginger garlic paste, boiled peas and all the spices.
Add onion, capsicum and carrot.
Cook it for 3-4 minutes .
Add oats and mix it well.
Add water as per requirement.
Cover with lid and cook it for 2 minutes on low flame.
Garnish with fresh coriander.
Serve hot.
